Frontline PCB Solutions announces the release of version 2.15 of its InPlanTM engineering system on April 30, 2007.

InPlanTM 2.15 enables engineers to process jobs faster and more efficiently than ever before.

Significant speed and quality enhancements have improved automatic stackup for high layer count and complex impedance controlled designs; a new algorithm enables intelligent array design for optimum panel and material utilization; and improved usability in panel and stackup design helps engineers achieve maximum accuracy in a fraction of the time.

Job processing is now managed by the new Job State and Issues List features. Job State enables engineers to document and track job progress via a list of configurable job states. Engineers may also add ‘issues’ to the job which are resolved later as the job is processed. Additional implementation tools also appear in this version of InPlanTM.
